Denise is an author, speaker, and professional advisor. She works with executives and their teams to build high trust environments.

Through storytelling from the stage or by video, Denise encourages people to embrace change, stand in their own authentic power, and help organizations think big.

Denise is the former Chief Innovation Officer of the Filene Research Institute where she led the prestigious i3 innovation program throughout the U.S. and Canada. Denise served as Chief Operating Officer at the Northwest Credit Union Association where she helped re-invent what a regional trade association does. She and the team have bragging rights to the high trust environment they built – together.

Gabel is a summa cum laude graduate of Eastern Washington University and served as a member of the Berkeley Innovation Forum at the University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business. She also graduated from the Harvard Business School’s Women’s Leadership Forum.

As a change agent, Denise always has a new book underway. She is honored to have her soulmate serving in his chief angel capacity gently pushing her to reach her full potential. Always.
